This week, Lakewood City Council unanimously approved an ordinance I proposed, last fall, requiring that food truck operators maintain up-to-date standards of safety, sanitation, and liability.
Effective safety regulations are an essential, basic responsibility for our government. I think this was a great display of council and the administration working collaboratively for the best interests for the residents of Lakewood and the restaurant community.
